About Trish
Legislator Trish Bergin is a life-long resident of the Suffolk County and currently resides in East Islip. Trish made the transition from journalist to local government in 2010, where she served as Islip Town Councilwoman for 12 years.
As a member of the Islip Town Board, Trish worked tirelessly to cut wasteful government spending, helped Islip achieve a AAA bond rating and was committed to reduce the tax burden on residents and businesses. Trish supports Suffolk County Law Enforcement to ensure safer neighborhoods.
Trish sees that the quality of life on Long Island is, in many ways, dictated by governmental decisions made on the county level.
Trish Bergin grew up in Ronkonkoma and is a graduate of Connetquot High School. She received a Bachelor of Arts from New York Institute of Technology where she graduated Cum Laude and received a full scholarship to the school’s Master’s Program, where she earned a Master of Arts.
Patricia "Trish" Bergin-Weichbrodt joined the Ramsay Realty Team [Eric G. Ramsay Jr. Assoc. LLC] in 2019. If Trish is a familiar face to you, there is good reason. Prior to Trish's real estate career, she worked as a television news anchor at News 12 Long Island and CBS News in NYC for WCBS and Inside Edition. Trish has always had a love for real estate, flipping homes in her spare time. In addition to Real Estate, Trish Bergin (aka Patricia Bergin-Weichbrodt) is a Town Board member for the Town of Islip. Trish combines all of her knowledge and experience to market homes and uses her on-air experience to make marketing videos for many of the homes she lists for sale. Contact Trish at 631-275-8146 if you are looking to purchase or sell your home.
