MISSION

UJPLI partners share a vision of transforming law enforcement and implementing a comprehensive set of public safety practices, through education, advocacy, and community engagement, in order to end biased policing, recognize and reduce the violence and inequities perpetuated against BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) and other oppressed communities, promote the well-being of residents and law enforcement officers, and harmonize public resources and policies to promote community safety.
